Biography
Matt Rhodes NP is an advanced practice registered nurse practitioner licensed to practice in Arizona and California. He is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC), Certified Emergency Nurse (BCEN) and Pain Management Nurse (ASPMN). In addition, he has advanced practice recognition (AP-PMN) by the American Society of Pain Management Nursing.
Matt Rhodes NP attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he was a research scholar. He graduated from the nursing program in 2009 earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He then attended the University of Cincinnati where he graduated with honors from the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2013.
Matt became licensed as a registered nurse in 2010 after relocating to California. From 2010 – 2013 he worked as an emergency room nurse at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center‘s Level One Trauma Center in Los Angeles, CA. While at Orange Coast Memorial he served on the LEAN 5S committee and was a Pain Resource Nurse.
He obtained certification as a nurse practitioner in 2013. Matt then trained in pain management with Michael Steuer MD at MidSouth Pain Treatment Centers. Since 2013 he has continued to work in pain medicine and interventional pain management. He has additional experience as a contractor or consultant for clients in primary care, physical medicine and urgent care. Matt is known as an expert in management of personal injury care, specifically auto accident injury assessment, treatment and case management.
